| What is EFILive? |
EFILive is PC based, Scanning and Tuning Tool for diagnosing and tuning late model electronic fuel injected vehicles.
EFILive began life as CarBytes which can still be downloaded and used free of charge. Carbytes is a simple scan tool for use with GM's 8192 baud, ALDL protocol.
Carbytes was updated to work with, 8192-baud (and 160-baud) ALDL networks and was relaunched as EFILiveV4.
In 2001, EFILive was completely re-designed, the first public release of EFILive shipped on July 01, 2002 as EFILive V5. EFILive V6 replaced EFILiveV5 in December 2003. EFILive V7 replaced EFILive V6 in January 2005.

Yes, you may purchase an EFILive registration key that allows you to use the EFILive V7 Scan Tool software with your AutoTap V2-AT1, V2-AT123 and ATU interface cable(s). EFILive V7 is not compatible with AutoTap V1 cables KATUEFISTD or KATUEFIPRO. |

| Does EFILive offer any warranty? |
The EFILive FlashScan interface cable has a 12-month warranty. The EFILive software is constantly being updated and enhanced. The updates may be downloaded from EFILive’s web site free of charge for the life of the product. |
