EFILive is constantly updating and improving the calibrations available for tuning your LS1/LS6 and compatible PCMs.

To determine if you vehicle is supported by EFILive's Scan Tool and/or Tuning Tool, you must determine your PCM's operating system.

You can do that in one of two ways:

1. Using EFILive's Scan Tool

1. Connect to the PCM
2. Select the [OBDII (F7)] tab page, [PCM] sub-page.
3. Select the menu option: Info->PCM info (or press the hotkey: Shift+F4).

2. Online lookup*
If you are not able to connect to the PCM using EFILive's Scan Tool and you have the vehicle's VIN, then you can look up the PCM's Operating System number online.

1. Open this link: http://calid.gm.com
2. Enter the VIN and click [Apply]
3. Select PCM/VCM and click [Next].
4. Select Operating System and wait for the operating system calibration info to be displayed (you may need to wait up to 1 minute).

The Operating System number will be displayed in the Part Number column. If more then one operating system is displayed, your PCM may have any of them, depending on whether the PCM has been updated by your GM dealer or not.

* This second option does not work for 1997/1998 PCMs because EFILive does not use GM's operating system numbers to identify those PCMs. As far as we know, EFILive supports all 1997/1998 LSx PCMs.

Once you have your Operating System number, compare it with the list below, if it matches one of the entries below, then you PCM is fully supported by EFILive. If it does not match, please send us a message to find out if support for your vehicle is pending. (Currently EFILive has no pending support for PCMs prior to 1997).
